Halloween Art Project

In preparation for the Monster Mash, I present to you, VENOM!

Summary of the BFG

Anna's class, the Platypuses, comprised of children grades 1-2, finished reading the BFG as a group.  All together, they wrote the following summary:

A little girl named Sophie saw a giant shadow.  The Giant took her away, and his name was the BFG.  He took her to giant country, where she learned all other giants were mean and ate people.

The BFG only ate snozzcumbers.  They tasted gross.  (Like poop.)  Then Sophie learned about Frobscottle (a drink) and whiz-popping (a toot that makes you shoot up in the air, and bubbles go down).

The BFG shows Sophie his dream jar.  Then they catch dreams together.  They came up to the bad giants while sleeping and gave them a nightmare.  This started a fight.

Then they heard the giants had a plan to eat the children in England.  They warned the Queen of England by giving her a bad dream about giants eating kids.

When the queen woke up, Sophie was in her room.  They had breakfast together.  They all decided to have the air force and the army help.

The airforce used helicopters or "bellycopters" to catch the giants.  They put the bad giants in a hole four times the size of JSIS.  They fed the giants snozzcumbers and planted seeds.

The BFG got a home, as did Sophie, next to the castle.  And we found out the BFG wrote the book under then name Roald Dahl.
